3 Tips for Stress Free Holiday Cooking!

Tip 1- Keep things simple. You’ve already got a lot on your plate, so this isn’t the time to make fancy dinners or experiment with new, complicated recipes. Keep meals simple, quick, and easy.
Tip 2- Keep a well-stocked pantry … and use it. Rely on the items in your pantry to pull together simple meals, like pasta, polenta with beans, or a rice bowl.
Tip 3- Use the Crock Pot- We love slow cookers anytime, however they hold a special place during the winter months. While dinner is coming along in the slow cooker, use that time to finish your shopping, wrap gifts, bake cookies, or get your house ready.

Set a pace for the Holidays

Take it easy on yourself.  The Holidays can be stressful as an adult.  Expect less, do more and try to chill whenever you can.  No two Christmas’ are alike, but don’t miss ‘this one’ trying to make it something that used to be.  This is the now, so revel in it…it’s your bliss, grab it!
